Golden Apple Award:
So when faced with the choice of who the “golden apple” should go to next, I did not feel I could single out one specific deserving recipient. Lyme Central School is blessed with an amazing teaching staff filled with incredibly talented, highly dedicated, flexible, caring, and motivated teachers. They have found a way to rise to the expectations of the state while continuing to infuse humor, and support and nurture that all important love of learning in our students. From the teachers who first work with our student to build that love of learning to those who finally send our students off into the world to tackle all of life’s challenges and everyone in between our Lyme Central Teachers all deserve a golden apple! So…I symbolically hand over the actual “Golden Apple” to Janice Shepard and Ann Marie Hyde as representatives for the teachers of Lyme but know you are all winners. Keep up the great work…LCS teachers you are all presented with the “Golden Apple” this week. Please visit the staff room to collect your very own “golden apple”.
