Welcome to the Lyme Central School Nurse's Office webpage. The Nurse's Office is located across the hall from the main office.

The Nurse's office provides first aid care for injured and ill students, medication if ordered by your child's doctor, physicals for athletes, new students, grades 2,4,7 and 10. I keep track of mandates to ensure that we are following all state and federal laws. Each child has a medical record that contains their health information and immunizations. The office provides the fluoride mouth rinse for students whose parents enroll them in the program, grades 1 through 6.

A little background information:

I graduated from St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center School of Nursing in Ogdensburg, NY in 1976. Since graduation I have worked on medical/surgical floors, ICU/CCU, a level 2 Intensive Care Nursery, Obstetrics, a Pediatrician's office, Quality Assurance, and Infection Control. I received certification in Infection Control and have worked as both a staff RN and a Nurse Manager. My husband and I have 3 sons who graduated from Lyme Central, 3 grandsons and most recently our first granddaughter.
