A New School Year
The long summer days are slowly getting shorter, and with that, the new school year is rapidly approaching. Parents may be wondering what supplies will be needed for 8th grade Science this fall, and so I am posting a list of items.
(1) 1-2" Three Ring Binder
Loose Leaf Paper
Pens & Pencils
8th grade Science is a lot of fun due to the variety of topics we will be studying this year. We will start with Weather & Climate, because living in the North Country, we see many seasons pass in a short period of time. Also since we are at the height of Hurricane Season, we will have a chance to watch that unfold as well. Throughout the year we will be studying Astronomy, Basic Chemistry, Motion & Forces, and Environmental Science. We will also be preparing for our NYS Science Exam in May/June.
I look forward to seeing you this fall, and enjoy these last days of summer!!
