Preschool Registration
  • Do you have a child who you are interested in enrolling in the universal pre-kindergarten program in September 2022?

    To register for pre-kindergarten, children must be four years old by December 1, 2022.  School aged children, aged 5 or over as of December 1 are not eligible for pre-kindergarten, but may enroll for kindergarten. 

    Eligible families may fill out a Preschool Census Information Form for their child, an enrollment package will be mailed to you. Our program is limited to 18 students, a waiting list will be established if additional applications are received. Pre-school registration opened in January, a few seats are left for 2022-2023.

    To prepare for registration, please gather the following documents:

    • Student's ID: Birth certificate (preferred), passport or baptismal record
    • Parent/ Guardian ID: Photo driver's license or passport
    • Proof of Residency:
    •     Deed/ Mortgage Statement
    •     Current Signed Lease/ Rental Agreement
    •     Current Utility Bill
    •     A written, notarized statement by a third-party landlord, owner or tenant from whom the parent(s) or person(s) in parental relation leases or with whom they share         property within the district
    • If a divorce or separation applies, please provide Proof of Custody.

    Registration packets will be mailed home, please return as soon as possible. You may return by mail or drop in the drop box outside of the main entrance. If you are able to scan the documents, you may return them by email to tkimmis@lymecsd.org, please no cell phone photos. The returned packet needs to include copies of the above documents, as well.     The returned enrollment packet will be reviewed.  Once your packet is complete, your information will be forwarded by the Registrar so that you will be contacted with additional information about the pre-kindergarten program at Lyme!

    The school nurse will need a recent physical and immunization record prior to the start of school in September.  Please plan accordingly to get the physical scheduled with your pediatrician.
