Hello! My name is Mrs. Tammy Ditch. I have lived in Sackets Harbor for most of my life. I attended Jefferson Community College and received a Business Administration Associates Degree. After graduating from Jefferson Community College I decided I wanted to learn more about Psychology and Elementary Education. At this point, I transferred to Potsdam State University and worked on my bachelor's degree in Psychology and got certified to teach elementary education. After receiving my bachelor's degree I substituted in local school districts, worked on my Master's Degree in Education, and worked as a waitress at Tin Pan Galley Restaurant. As of January 2020, I have been teaching for 30 years. I have taught K-6, Academic intervention classes, Special Education, and some college classes through Empire State College.
I'm married to Mr. Scott Ditch. He is a NYS Corrections Officer at Cape Vincent Correctional Facility. I have one daughter named Alaina, and three sons named Joshua, Collin, and Jaxon. My daughter Alaina attended SUNY Cobleskill in Cobleskill, NY. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Culinary. She works at the Samaritan Hospital as a Dietary Clinician. My son Joshua attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He was a ROTC cadet. He graduated in 2018 and now is working on a law degree at Washington & Lee College in Lexington, VA. Collin will be a Junior at Oswego University in the fall and Jaxon will be graduating from Jefferson Community College in May with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He would like to go into law enforcement. He is 19 years old so he will need to wait until he is 21 years old to join a police force. I have three dogs, Lola Violet, a white lab, Tucker Lee, a white Yorkie Terrier Mix, and we have a Great Dane named Roscoe. We love to boat in the summer and hibernate in the winter by our woodstove! We also enjoy music! My husband plays guitar, drums, and sings. I play keyboards and sing.
In my spare time I love to read! I enjoy using computers and I love to walk with my husband and our dogs. If I had unlimited money we would travel all the time. We enjoy visiting new places.
I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about me!
