  • Would You Rather Fitness:




    I hope everyone is trying to stay active for at least 60 minutes a day.  Here are some suggested activities for home.  Be creative!  Please let me know what you are doing at home.  Please email me if you have any questions or concerns.


    Locomotor skills:  walk, run, skip, gallop, jump (two feet), hop (one foot)

    Exercise or fitness stations:  jumping jacks, toe touches, crab kicks, pushups, plank, sit ups, lunges or squats, arm circles, etc.

    Playground activities:  swing, climb, slide, balance, etc.

    Bike, hula hoop, jump rope, hopscotch, skateboard, scooter, rollerblade

    Any sport:  throw and catch, shoot baskets, kick a ball, batting, etc.

    Tag games:  super hero tag, freeze tag, toilet tag, hide and seek, capture the flag

    Create an obstacle course:  over, under, around, through, balance, etc.

    Fitness programs:  Just Dance, Wii Fit, tabata, yoga

    Yard work:  gardening, raking, stacking wood, etc.

    Chores:  wash the car, vacuum, clean your room, etc.

    Playing with or walking a pet

    Outdoor games:  frisbee, kickball, corn hole, etc.
